So far, Ava has been a Momma's Girl. I guess most babie are when they're little. Every morning one of us brings Ava into our bed when she wakes up around 6:30 or so. Then every time I walk out of the bedroom, to go to the bathroom or to get her a bottle or whatever, she starts crying and saying "mamamamama". But this morning, Tommy brought her into the bedroom and then when he got up to go into the bathroom, The Little Chicken, (that's what Olivia calls Ava) started crying! Tommy was so friggin' happy, even if he tried to pretend he didn't care. I thought it was cute until she didn't cry when I left the room. So of course I had to test her. The second time I left the room she did the "mamamama" so I was happy. I know that's twisted, to hope that your child will cry, but whatever. And now, speaking of the little chicken, I have to go because she keeps biting me on the leg. I swear, it's like having a wild animal in the house. She's a lunatic.

I love the "Little Chicken" name. Olly is so cute. And don't worry, it's not that twisted. It's just nice to feel so important sometimes...and to know that we are needed and loved! I think Jeremy was secretly thrilled when Molly cried for him the first time too...
OMG! Your new daughter is beautiful! It is Courtney Young, by the way, hope you guys are well!
XOXO
